Aspects in Dota 2 that need to be buffed. Part 2

Part two of an article about weak and sometimes useless aspects that have yet to be buffed in Dota 2.

SAND KING DUST DEVIL

Aspect has been significantly weakened, which was certainly a well-deserved move, but Valve seems to have overreacted. We hope that Aspect is restored and strengthened, while eliminating random control in the area.

Overall, the hero needs an aganim revision as it is too powerful and unpredictable. Depending on the player's luck, this aganim can be either the best or worst buy in the game. For now, it's best to play the standard Sandshroud SK - it remains strong.

VENOMANCER PLAGUE CARRIER

It's not entirely clear to us who chooses this aspect and for what purpose, especially when there are stronger alternatives. Perhaps it's for cor Venomancer, who quickly farms the forest with warlocks and comes out with a lot of items.

A build with Bloodthorn can be useful - each snake on Venik adds +50 magic damage from item activation, which significantly increases his DPS. However, it's easier to take a hero with illusions or just a curry that farms faster and comes out stronger in the play phase.

VISAGE FAITHFUL FOLLOWERS

This “nub” Aspect is really unimpressive, which is understandable. While it speeds up Familiars and gives them more attack range, it's not enough for beginners to be successful.

Also, this Aspect doesn't help you master the character - its mechanics don't reflect the normal playstyle of this character. The only way to make it useful is to significantly increase the bonuses for Familiars, which seems like a bad idea. It would be better to rework the Aspect itself and let novice players learn micro.

WINDRANGER WHIRLWIND

On paper this aspect doesn't look too bad. In a slower meta it would probably be effective. However, right now it takes too much time and effort for him to become preferable to the alternatives.

Arcana progression he doesn't add, which is another disadvantage. Perhaps it can be salvaged with some minor improvements. In the right set-up, this aspect can indeed do more damage in a faight, especially at 5+ slots and with strong abilities to fix opponents. However, it requires too many conditions, while the default Focus Fire works more reliably and efficiently.
